Common sense must prevail

The Movement for Democratic Change and the government of neighbouring Botswana have rightly called for new elections to end the current impasse.

We must join these calls in the Western world.

The Zimbabwean people deserve democracy rather than deadlock and death.

It is time for a little less conversation and a little more action. It is better to be late, than never turn up.

We have missed so many opportunities to change the situation. Let us not miss this one.
