That is arguably what Afghanistan is now living under.
No leader wants to, or should, knowingly put their citizens in danger but the decision by Afghanistan’s government to delay elections (which were scheduled for May) until August, allows those who do not want to see the lives of normal Afghanis improve, to claim that they have won one battle.
The Afghani government should reconsider its decision and as soon as possible take the train of democracy out of the sidings and put it on the track.
