That is the only way to describe Gazprom’s (and therefore by default the Russian government’s) actions.
Ordinary people across Europe are suffering because of what is essentially a political dispute, and not a commercial dispute as both the Russian government and Gazprom are claiming.
The European Union and the international community must step up the pressure on Russia to restore the gas. If this is purely a commercial dispute it must be settled through the relevant legal channels.
